2012–time flies doesn’t it?
I think this year I am going to go a different route as far as new years resolutions go. One of the people I follow in the marketing and business niches (Chris Brogan) has a great little thing about picking 3 words for the year that, as he says ,will help you define your goals and experiences for the coming year. You can read more about this @ http://www.chrisbrogan.com/3words2012/
So with that in mind here are my three words for 2012:
Finish– Plenty of projects started in 2011, but not many finished. I will use this word to remind be to see things through to the end in the new year. Owning your own company brings about many opportunities and directions you can go in, but it also means that you have to be disciplined enough to finish whatever direction you choose to go. By remembering the word Finish, no matter what direction I choose I will know that I need to see it through to the end.
Network– Get and stay in touch with people that have genuine like minded goals, interest, and can help further personal and professional goals. Build genuine friendships, partnerships, and have the ability to help others to reach their goals. Make sure to connect with friends that I haven’t talked to as much as I should be.
Structure– Free time, no idea what that is! At least I shouldn’t have any idea with my company, my job, my classes, and general life. Yet I can easily waste a day or two a week without accomplishing anything. I know that I should take time to relax and enjoy what I have in life, but there needs to b a time and place for everything so I can reach other goals I have. I need to structure my time, my business, my homework, and everything else to make sure I am working toward accomplishing my goals for the year. I will need this Structure to help me with my other two words, Finish and Network.
So now that I have my three words I can use them to come up with the day-to-day things I need to do to make them happen. 3 little words but huge possibilities. If you were to use this 3 word methods, what would your 3 words be?

Very Nice!
